From old, undated notes. Had this on draft at the brewpub.
Taste follows nose, but hops assert themselves and overpower the stout tastiness. A nice black IPA but a near miss as a stout.

Taste: complex, roasted dry hopped, slight bitter,. Exotic floral hopped, garden hopped nose. Black, opaque, with dark tan head, some lace. Medium body. Hop forward stout I had years ago.

A: Pitch black liquid, tan head with great retention
S: A tad raisiny
T: Good roasty and chocolatey notes. Nice assertive hops that back off and are not overpowering in the finish
M: Waerming, roasty
O: Very tasty, but the smell is so different and off-putting that I marked it down.

Toxic Revolution
Poured from a bomber into a stemmed tulip glass and shared with friends
Thanks to iguenard for the bottle!
Even after a year-ish of age on this bottle, the hops are still potent, very surprising. A nice deep body, black with a creamy head. As noted, this had a really hop nose along with ample roasted malt, cocoa, dark chocolate. The taste was also very dry from bittering hops as well as dark roasted malts, char, burnt coffee, cocoa nibs. It had a nice round, full mouthfeel and a nice amount of carbonation.
