Thanks bstyle

A - Pours a very dark brown with a large light brown-foamy head with great retention.

S - Chocolate, hoppy citrus, roasted malts.

T - Light citrusy chocolate, it's different, but it works well.

D - Good carbonation with a lighter body.

O - Lighter than usual stout with a nice citrus hop kick to compliment the chocolate.

Brownish black body, mocha colored foam on top, at least an inch or so. Some minimal lacing around the edges, and a broken surface skim.

Softly hoppy and roasty aroma, the combination reminds me of Alpha Klaus.

Bitter and resiny, some citrus peel and roasty char in the background. Medium bodied and smooth, medium carbonation. Resiny green hop aftertaste that sticks in the teeth. Seems more "black IPA" than anything, but that's just me. Overall it's enjoyable to drink, regardless of style.

22oz bottle.

Pours opaque black with a dense tan head. A myriad of tattered sheets of lacing with a solid skim coat for the duration.

Char, coffee, dark chocolate, and pine resin lead off the nose. Shades of Kahlua and a hint of underlying marmalade follow through.

Full bodied with a chewy, thickish mouthfeel.

Bitter chocolate, charred malt, and coffee grounds start off the palate. Piney hops with barely a trace of tropical fruit follow through.

Finishes with lingering roast, chocolate, and char with a boozy undercurrent.

A tasty and substantial stout with some nice hop backbone.
