Copenhagen 22/9 2020. 35,5 cl bottle from Mikkeller Web-shop. Drawing of very big space station on the label. Actually it looks like a city that can fly.
Pours unclear orange with a medium-sized white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, toasted aroma of caramel and toffee mingling with citric notes. Citrus and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light citric sour twist. Finish is semi-dry.
Reminds quite much of an Amber ale. And a quite good one when it comes to that.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours orange red with a small white head. Smells of citrus hops with nice sweet grain. Tastes of sweet citrus and slight fruit. Beer is easy drinking and light bodied, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Poured out of a 12 oz. bottle into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a slightly cloudy/hazy medium copper/amber color w/ a white head that's about an inch thick when first poured. Head eventually settles to a thick coating of film layer surface foam along with a thick lining the inside of the glass at the beer's surface along w/ good lacing. Aromas of some toasted, bready, caramel malt sweetness along with some piney, slightly earthy and slightly citrusy hops. A very similar taste, w/ slightly toasted, bready, caramel malt sweetness along w/ piney and some earthy and citrusy hop notes that provide the right balance of bitterness. Orange rind for sure is present here. A very balanced flavor profile indeed. Has a crisp, also smooth and slightly frothy/creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. All of the flavors linger nicely for awhile on my palate after each sip. A good beer all around here.

Pours a dark amber color with a medium white head that goes away quickly. Smells of light hops and caramel. Taste is a malty forward with a hoppy finish.

I've been a fan of Three Floyd's since they first opened in Hammond, Indiana in the 1990s. Perhaps this isn't my type of beer so keep that in mind. I tried it and seriously nearly vomited. It tasted as if someone took some straw, put it in a bucket, added horse urine and fermented it until mold appeared.
I apologize for the crude description but it's the most accurate description I can give.
