Poured into a tulip glass. The liquid is a hazy orange, and the pour kicks up a thick three-finger off-white head that lingers for several minutes and leaves lots of lace on the way down.

Aroma is lemony citrus, candied oranges, kind of sour, with a hint of a grainy malt backbone. Not particularly strong, but it does smell good!

Flavor has all the lemony citrus from the nose, plus some piney resin and a carmelized sweetness contributed by the malts. The finish is almost minty, and black pepper spicy, with a moderate-to-high amount of bitterness. The aftertaste is candied citrus.

Mouthfeel is very creamy, with a high level of carbonation to cut through it. Really well-done.

Overall, a solid and well-done pale ale, but not my favorite by any means. Thanks to batfireman for including it as an extra.

Just an amazingly great beer. Wonderful zestiness with the hops that have a nice bitterness along with the fruit flavors. A big vertebrae of malt and the distinguished signature freshness that looms in 3 floyds beers. The Feel is great and makes me want more. The more I drink the better it gets. Cheers

Bomber poured into a snifter.

4.5 A: Clear orange amber color. Two fingers of frothy/creamy off-white head. Retention is very good and about one finger of plentiful, but spotty lacing is left.

4.5 S: Really interesting hop profile going on here. What sticks out first, mainly because it's so surprising, is jasmine. Big grassiness, then herbalness, lemongrass, lemon, and grapefruit. Caramel maltiness pumps up an otherwise neutral malt base.

4.25 T: Taste is less impressive than the nose, but still really good. Again I get a lot of herbalness in the form of jasmine and lemongrass. Lemon and grapefruit follow. Caramel maltiness. Basically it tastes like it smells, but not quite as potent.

4.25 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Pleasantly creamy and super smooth.

4.5 D: Really well made pale. Infinitely drinkable due to the calm bitterness and clean malt profile.

To me this is a cross of YumYum and Alpha King.

What a beautiful beer! Smells like pears, citrus, apples and grains. Straight out the gate I'm getting a vegetal fruit pale ale however when I dont I get a strong grain profile. This is quite an interesting brew. This tastes like a poptart!

It's got a great balance of malt and of hops. It's juicy but also hoppy... also malty. It's more than just an alcoholic juice. And damn near better than Zombie Dust. Definitely Zombie Dust's main competitor from Three Floyds. Yum yum, this shit tastes like a head full of gumballs and it's a damn-near perfect beer. A six pack of it shant be regretted.

Pours a cloudy copper color with a thick and creamy head of foamy white. Spotty lacing.
The aroma is tropical fruit and a hint of candied oranges.
Taste of sweet juicy oranges, a touch of mango and a hint of pine. A crisp and nicely bitter finish.
Mouthefeel is medium and well-carbonated.
Tasty and refreshing.
