Poured on tap into a 4oz. taster at Pizza Paradiso Dupont DC. From notes.

Big rings of lacing while drinking this brew, creamy white coating and unbreakable. Light gold to bronze amber body and fairly clear in appearance, and some visible carbonation but small. Very nice.

Nose opens up with juicy melon and cantaloupe like aromas. Hints of tropical and light bodied hop front citrus as well. A real smorgasborg in there, with once a gain juicy palate sensing, and fruit chewy character. Simple, not booming, but solid.

Palate hits with great juicy feel. Large melon and juice, with light bitterness and pine on the finish. There's some tight carbonation at play here as well which brings in more classic Three Floyd's feeling fun!

Overall another wonderful pale ale from these guys, they know pale ale and make just fantastic examples. Real easy drinking as well to boot.

Bomber poured into a snifter.

4.5 A: Clear orange amber color. Two fingers of frothy/creamy off-white head. Retention is very good and about one finger of plentiful, but spotty lacing is left.

4.5 S: Really interesting hop profile going on here. What sticks out first, mainly because it's so surprising, is jasmine. Big grassiness, then herbalness, lemongrass, lemon, and grapefruit. Caramel maltiness pumps up an otherwise neutral malt base.

4.25 T: Taste is less impressive than the nose, but still really good. Again I get a lot of herbalness in the form of jasmine and lemongrass. Lemon and grapefruit follow. Caramel maltiness. Basically it tastes like it smells, but not quite as potent.

4.25 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Pleasantly creamy and super smooth.

4.5 D: Really well made pale. Infinitely drinkable due to the calm bitterness and clean malt profile.

To me this is a cross of YumYum and Alpha King.

What a beautiful beer! Smells like pears, citrus, apples and grains. Straight out the gate I'm getting a vegetal fruit pale ale however when I dont I get a strong grain profile. This is quite an interesting brew. This tastes like a poptart!

Pours a cloudy copper color with a thick and creamy head of foamy white. Spotty lacing.
The aroma is tropical fruit and a hint of candied oranges.
Taste of sweet juicy oranges, a touch of mango and a hint of pine. A crisp and nicely bitter finish.
Mouthefeel is medium and well-carbonated.
Tasty and refreshing.

Another really good APA from 3Fs. These guys have this shit to down to a perfect mix of science and art. Able to mix amazing hop profiles with malts that work in harmony.
