The wolf inside this pale ale is trying to walk upright. This bright and aromatic beer was brewed with our friends in the band Pig Destroyer.

Look: Medium orange colored with a thick white foam that sticks around the glass the entire time.
Smell: Wow. Huge, citrus fruit aroma (orange, tangerine, grapefruit). Subtle malt backbone that comes through more as it warms.
Taste: Much like the nose - strong citrus fruits of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, and maybe some pineapple. Tastes almost like fruity candy. Some biscuity malt.
Feel: Medium bodied and slightly creamy. Hides the high ABV well.
Overall: My favorite FFF brew. One of the best DIPAs out there. If you see this one, make sure you pick it up!

16 oz. can pours a slightly hazy bright orange with one-finger white head and good lacing. Smells of tropical fruits, citrus and pine. Aroma has lots of grapefruit, pineapple, guava, some pine resin, and enough caramel to keep things balanced. Taste starts out with a bitter onslaught, with a sweet malty middle and a long dry finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Body is medium to full with average carbonation and a slightly sticky mouthfeel. This one made me wake up and say WOW for the first time in several weeks. This is my sister's favorite from Three Floyds and right up there with Dreadnaught for me. Another winner from Three Floyds, which I try every time it is available.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – the beer pours a lightly hazed orange color with a one finger head of orange-yellow tinted foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time and leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – the aroma is big of a resinous pine and grapefruit hop mixed with an almost vanilla-orange creamsicle like smell. Other sweet aromas of tropical fruits are in the nose as well, with tangerine, mango, and papaya. Light notes of a floral nature and a bit of breadiness are there as well, producing a sweet and big smell overall.
Taste – The taste starts out with a bready and doughy malt flavor mixed with a rather strong presence of tangerine and mango. At the same time there is a decent hit of grapefruit and pine as the nose would have suggested, with the grapefruit really amping up as the taste advances. At the same time some of the tangerine/orange and vanilla add a creamsicle dimension to the brew, with other sweet flavors of peach and apricot bringing even more fruit to the table. The hop increases more toward the end, and with notes of white pepper, melon, wood, and booze, one is left with a very rich and sweet, smooth hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is quite thick and creamy with a moderate carbonation level. The thick feel is great for the high abv and sweeter flavors, making this a nice slow sipper.
Overall – A rather big and robust hazy IPA with lots of flavor and a good hit of alcohol. Another rather enjoyable brew by FFF.

Pours a clear light pale orange color nice fluffy two finger off white head that leaves gobs of lace down my glass.
Aroma is big hops, over ripe fruit dripping in pine resin the way God intended IPA;s to be. Even with the over load of hops you can almost taste the sweet caramel base big and almost chewy .
Taste is bam alpha resins tingling the taste buds, nice sticky pine resin with underlying over ripe citrus notes all riding on a sweet malty caramel base that is big enough to hold them all. Finish is dunk resin, light herbal notes mingled with the bitterness, almost chewy with a alcohol bite from the 10.5% letting you know to take this beer seriously.
Mouthfeel is approaching full nice big chewy IPA with great carbonation.
Overall beer like this makes me wish hazy's didn't exist, brings back the good ole days.
