Checked this place out while I grabbed a candy bar on PCH. From the outside it has fairly normal liquor store look, the place has some height to it once I got inside which was fun. The beer is all refrigerated, most local San Diego stuff as far as craft goes, but I saw a lot of DFH (60, 90, Midas Touch). Even saw some Mikkeller. The clerk was cool, didn't bug me as I was the only person in store, in many cases the employees will bug you, so that was nice. Prices are pretty standard to what you'll see in the Southland. Not a destination, but as a local liquor store for the community it works. BevMo Long Beach is a couple miles up the road if you want a bigger selection.

I've passed by this unamsuing liquor store on the way to Beachwood BBQ too many times to count. Its addition to BeerFly says that it may hold some exceitment inside despite what the Bud Light mural painted on its extrerior would say.

A small interior filled of mass market lager signs with pretty women in them, a few narrow aisles, one "enclosed" spot of the store with top shelf spirits. Fairly clean and workable. No shortage of parking.

While a fair number of breweries are represented, there were usually only a few of their beers available. Most of the (craft) beers are sold via the 4 or 6 pack, but there are a decent number of large format and single bottles. Representatives from San Diego (Stone, AleSmith, Port/Lost Abbey, Green Flash, AleSmith), within California (Lagunitas, North Cooast, Lost Coast), and outside California (Great Divide, Paulaner, Maui, Chimay, Spaten). Bottles are kept cold and are neatly organized, and they all have retail pricetags.

In a pinch, Bay Liquor has the stuff for your craft beer fix.
