Stopped in for dinner after the dinner rush ended. Several people sitting at the bar. More an upscale restaurant than a beer drinking hangout. One TV at the bar. Not a quiet place but I do not think I would hang out there and enjoy several beers. Only a couple of Michigan beers on-tap (one Short's and one Arbor) out of six choices, but the bottle list is expansive. About 6-8 Michigan wines available as well. Chef-driven cuisine on the menu, and you will pay for it. My entree was $20, which is not high, but I expected more bang for the buck then what was put in front of me. It tasted good, but I feel I could of made this at home and taste just as good without the local grown or organic claim. Service was attentive, friendly, and seemed knowledgeable of their menu. I believe the food menu had 6 starter choices and 6 entree choices. Also a daily special written on a board next to the bar.

Definately worth checking out. Chances are good it would impress your date.
