I agree with previous assessments. Very tart and quite dry. But excellent.

Thanks to wethorseblanket for sharing this one at drewone's tasting.

Pours a murky light yellow with a foamy khaki head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is sour, tart, and funky with some acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with a woody and acidic finish. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is quite sour and acidic and fairly one dimensional in that regard.

A: Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head that reduces to a ring on top rather quickly. Little bits of white lace form on the glass.

S: Very funky and musty with some nice sour lemon, apple, white grapes, and vinegar.

T: Nice sour lemon flavor upfront with some green apple and white grapes mixed in. The oak comes out as does a nice lactic sourness. There is a bit of funk, but not has much as the aroma, the flavor profile is much more fruity.

M: Closer to medium than light bodied with medium to high carbonation, slightly dry finish.

O: A really nice wild ale. Not overly sour, but it has a nice level of funk and fruity flavors. Wish their sours were a few dollars cheaper, but will definitely try and grab a few more at some point.

Split a 750 ml... Pored into a duvel glass.

A: pours a pale light amberish golden with about half a finger of white head that dissapates slowly... Zero lacing. Not a bad lookin beer, but nothing to get excited about....

S: I get a lot of white wine oak character first, with notes of melon, and lemon, and other citrus notes, as the brew warms the sourness really comes out... Enhancing the sour lemon citrus note, overall this smells pretty damn good, and nice and sour.

T: much like the nose this has a nice white wine character, I believe I was told that this is great lady aged in chard barrels with some nice bugs or whatnot. Notes of melon and sour lemon, oak, with a nice sour bite... Well done

M: light bodied and drinkable, medium carbonation, beautiful fuzzy/creamy mouthfeel.... Great on a hot day.

O: a very nice sour, with some nice white wine and sour citrus notes, Cisco knows how to make some good sours.

750 mL bottle poured into a tulip glass

A- Hazy golden color with a white head that fades quickly.

S- Tart fruits, grapes and lemons mainly, reminds me of white wine a little, funky yeast smell, hint of vinegar. Overall I would say the smell reminds me a Gueuze that is not as intense as normal.

T- Amazing, I don't see how the taste could be improved on! More sour than the smell, great big slightly sour grape flavor in the middle, and just enough funk in the finish.

M- Light, crisp, clean, smooth, refreshing and dry.

D- Goes down very easy, this is definitely one of you favorite sours and worth the price tag. Cork was a pain to get off, the top was starting to rip on me, but it is worth all the work to get what is inside. I can't wait to grad more bottles.
