Poured into a 16 oz Troegs Snulip glass bottled on 10/30/17. Pours a very attractive mahogany, with a 2 plus sticky off white head that leaves loads of thin webs of lace.
Smell is nutmeg, cinnamon, toffee, vanilla, toffee, blue spruce, and caramel.
Taste follows nutmeg, spruce, cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, and caramel.
Mouthfeel is a tad bigger than medium, plenty of life, not overly dry, and drinks pretty easy at 8% ABV.
Overall this is a very solid spiced winter warmer, spices are there but not over the top and very drinkable.

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to ruddy brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing sliding into the beer. The smell had a decent light winter spices of ginger, allspice and clove. The taste was mainly spicy with a gentle bready sweetness to balance. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and decent for the winter warmer style and for me. Overall, I say this was a pretty good winter warmer I’d have again.
