Poured from a bomber into a snifter, the beer is a bright, opaque, orange-gold coloring with a thin, filmy coating of white froth. Aromas of light citrus, biscuits, and earthy tones. The beer smells lighter and fruitier than most Tripels. Flavors are tangy sweet, with a honey and citrus backbone supporting currant and cherry highlights, as well as some light coriander and clove spicing. The beer is light and smooth in mouth, with a spiced aftertaste. Smooth, slightly filmy and lingering finish. Light and easy to drink for the ABV...great in hot weather, but dangerous.

Great tripel from Cisco!
Really mango and malt forward, especially on the nose. Taste reminds me of organic orange juice, caramel, and chamomile! Also some honey and butter on the nose - me like!
Mouthfeel is somewhat syrupy! This one and Cisco's Imperial Russian Stout are some of my favorites!

Poured from a brown 25.4 oz. bottle. Has a hazy, golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of yeast, spices, some bananas. Taste is spices, alcohol, green apples, light banana, a bit unusual for the style. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer.

This poured with wonderful carbonation a tawny color and a thick white head. After an initial funky taste, it settled into a delightful triple. Very enjoyable.

Doesn't look like a beer at all. It's almost orange in color, like Hi-C. There isn't a bubble to be found. No head whatsoever.
Little smell. If I stick my nose almost into the beer, I can pick up a bit of alcohol. As it warms, some fruity notes come out. But like the look, it's missing some beer characteristics.
It kind of tastes like beer, but just barely. There nothing til the swallow and that's when the Belgian yeast and some fruitiness present. Some alcohol in the finish.
Totally flat. Zero carbonation, like the look. This beer is totally dead and it tastes like it. Completely devoid of life.
Skip this. It's a waste of money. Basically no smell and no flavor, no carbonation to bring anything to life. This would be a drain pour if I wasn't on vacation with nothing else cold.

Appearance - The beer poured a yellow-orange color with a white head.
Smell - My first impression was the smell of alcohol coupled with dry tropical hints.
Taste - My first thought was that I was drinking malt liquor with tropical fruit. I had this sense that I was drinking a low quality vodka mixer. The bite of the alcohol had nail polish qualities with the burn at the finish. In fairness, the fruity notes cam more to the front as the beer warmed.
Mouthfeel - The tripel had the body for the style, allowing for staying power.
Overall - I had much higher expectations for this beer. Something was just not right here.

Poured a gorgeous golden amber into a Duvel tulip, topped by a dissipating two finger off-white head. Musty, yeasty aroma. Taste is a yeasty malt bomb, semisweet, with pineapple and other citrus and tropical fruit notes. Creamy, medium carbonated mouthfeel. Finish is slightly marred by astringency.

From tasting notes. Appearance: Cloudy gold to amber, 2” white foam cap, excellent lace. Smell: fruity, spicy nose, Taste: rounded malt, fruit, some caramel, no clove but a suggestion of banana, some citrus, lemony orange, faint cardamom, lingering pepper on the finish. Dry finish with a medium bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel: Very creamy smooth, dry, not sour. Alcohols are soft, no heat or warming. The Body is much lighter than you would expect from a 9% abv beer or from the beer’s presence.

A- Body is a uniformly translucent golden yellow hue. Pours with a small soapy white head that fades quickly to a very thin collar and very little lacing is left behind in the glass.
S- Apple, peppery spice, pear. The nose is rather soft and delicate.
T- Hints of spice upfront with a delicate light apple and bready background, The spices intensify slightly for the finish but are never overdone as just a subtle alcohol warmth lingers on with spices and light fruit. There is a bit of alcohol astringency that comes through for the finish as well.
M- Medium amount of soft carbonation and a lightweight, delicate body.
O- Overall this is a very nice tripel. Pretty classic in presentation and flavors. It does seem to be just a bit spicier than others. I like this beer and I am glad to have tried it. Not sure how old it is but Im pretty sure I picked it up at a bottle shop in ME or VT over the summer.
