Pizza, calzones, and salad along with a limited selection of wraps are what you will find here. The pizza is first rate, some of the best that you will find in Vermont. The beer selection is top notch with twelve taps on craft beer love. Mostly Vermont and New England beers on tap but other gems can be found here as well.
They sell Back Acre Golden sour here in the bottle. There is always something cheap like PBR or Naragansett available as well.
It's family friendly and can be loud at times especially when there is live music. I highly recommend this place if you are passing through.

Chester is a beautiful town and worth the trip even if you are not going to The Pizza Stone. Went there with a buddy to watch football and drink Hill Farmstead the first Sunday in September. Was told by the owner that she does not get Hill Farmstead at the present time, but may again in the future. The TV was out at the time so no football either. The place is real Vermont for better or worse- a little rough around the edges. The pizza was excellent, amongst the best I've had in Vermont, if not the best. The beer selection was above average with nothing to drop dead about. Will give it another place but a bit disappointing overall. Worth the visit if you are in the area, but not a destination in itself.

I love this place! They have the best tap selection anywhere in the area, the pizza and wings are amazing and they're super great people too.

Beerwise, Hills Farmstead (2-4 Taps), Trapp (1-2 Taps), Trout River, Harpoon, Stone, Dogfish Head and Switchback are almost always on and Northshire, Long Trail, Anchor and Goose Island all make regular appearances.

Foodwise, all of the pizzas are great my my favorite is the VT Homegrown and the Maple Tang Wings are a must get.

The one minor downside is that they only take cash and checks but when a place is this awesome, who cares.

Found this while visiting Vermont. Nice friendly stop off Rt 11 with the bar right as you enter and the dining room situated in the middle of the facilty. The pizza hearth and counter are in the back. This place has only been open 8 months, having been over on Main St in a small place. 18 beers on tap Harpoon Octfest, Otter Creek Stovepipe porter, Woodchuck amber cider, Rock Art Black moon IPA, Hill Farmstead Earl, Edward, Trout River rainbow red, Trapp Dunkel, Helles Golden, Summer, Harpon UFO, IPA, Pumpkin, Sierra Nevada Tumbler, PBR. All beers here are poured with pride and they proudly do not serve AB products. There is music here on Saturday and Sunday. Everything from the beer to the food staff and owners is as good as it gets! If you are in the area be sure to not pass up this gem in southern VT.

Excellent beer selection. 18 rotating taps feature mostly VT made beers (+PBR), with occasional offerings from the likes of Dogfish Head, Sierra Nevada and other popular microbrews from out of state.

The pizza is amazing, is baked in a stone oven and features locally sourced ingredients. Other food offerings are good.

They usually have live music a 2 or so nights a week which brings a lively crowd and usually a packed house. It's a great place to hang out and meet locals.

If you are driving up North for some skiing, take a right on Rt-11 after you enter town. The Pizza Stone is on your left less than 1/4 mile down. The food and beer will be cheaper (and better) than in the ski towns. It will be well worth your stop, I promise!
