Trig's is basically the Sendik's of the north. Anyone familiar with Sendik's knows this is a true compliment.
The Rhinlander location is about 15 minutes away the lake house we frequent. Perfect for beer runs.
The beer and wine are separate from the rest of the store. Labeled as the wine cellar or beer cave. The American craft section was rather impressive for the north woods. Mostly Wisconsin stuff but a decent amount of Midwest brews. I was happy to see many beers from breweries around Wisconsin I can't get in Milwaukee. Angry Minnow, South Shore, North Woods Brew pub to name a few. Solid singles section. They even had their own card board six pack holders with the Trig's name on them. All the craft beer was kept cold. Which is always a plus in my book.
The service was friendly and very helpful. I didn't need any help but was asked several times. Plus my wife was looking for some specific booze and they helped her look for it.
Overall a great place to stock up on craft brew when hanging out at the lake house.
