Got this beer as part of a make your own six pack at Total Wines this past Sunday. Was sharing a few beers with friends, but didn't quite get through all of the beers that day, and had this one after dinner, and sipping as I type this up.
A: The beer pours a light cola brown, with a red hue that can be seen when held to the light. A light off white colored head rose about a half inch, then settled to a light film of head resting on top, no lacing.
S: Mild caramel, faint light coffee, very light chocolate, and a mild cinnamon note
T: Mild dark fruit, faded caramel, finishes dry with a lingering mild bitterness.
M: Light mouth, starts a bit creamy, but fades out on the back end.
O: okay, a little disappointing. Been about 2 years since I had this last. It's a lot lighter and thinner than I remember. Not sure if it's changed, or me. Kicker is my wife made me do 3 sets of 10 pushups to drink this, since I missed the gym today....not worth the calories. All well.

Brown ale is brown. Head is a lighter brown, 1/4". Brown malt aroma.
Neither hops nor ample malt occurs here. Nothing bold about it. More substantial than Newcastle, but barely, and in a more expensive package.
Found myself more excited to be done with this beer than the likelihood of drinking more of it. A little more caramel than toffee from the malt. Some dark fruit notes, not complimentary.

From notes. Pours dark brown with a 1” cream coklored foam collar. Dissipates fairly quick but leaves decent lace. Not a lot of aroma, primarily malt with some nuts. Moderate levels of malt with light biscuit, light toast, some nuts, traces of caramel. Medium to medium light body, medium low carbonation, some creaminess. Nothing really big about the beer and nothing outstanding but easy to drink.
