Wishbone pours a clear, bright gold with a fluffy white head and light, sticky lacing throughout the glass. Wishbone’s nose boasts tropical citrus notes of pineapple, lychee and brilliant pear accented by a light pine resin. Wishbone offers a medium mouthfeel with big, sweet hops balanced by a bready finish offered by mostly pale malt with a touch of Brewer’s Oats, Maris Otter and Victory to add just enough backbone to support the intense hop quantities. With an aroma and taste more sessionable than it’s 8% ABV body lets on, Wishbone: This Bone’s For You!

Pours a gold-ish orange into a snifter. Medium lacing. Strong hop nose and good bitter bite. More earthy than piney IMO but the pine still exists. The alcohol does come through which might turn some off. This is certainly one of the more aggressive Shmaltz brews but still super delicious

Served on tap at Gebhard's Beer Culture, NYC, a new craft beer bar I'm happy to have discovered.
Pours an amber orange with a creamy head and collar. There is some sticky lace.
In the aroma: biscuity malt, sweet juicy tropical fruit, mango, citrusy, grapefruit.
Bold sharp piny hops are a feature. Sweet malt backbone fills up the body and provides sweetness, juicy and citrusy grapefruit like finish. Good balance between sweet and bitter. Big resiny aftertaste. Dried up mid palate, pine becomes more pronounced. Medium bodied and easy to drink.
A solid IIPA overall, juicy and hoppy. I would have it again.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden orange with slight haze, thin white head fades leaving soapy lace. Sweet caramel toasted bread aroma, some pine notes there. Sticky sweet taste, caramel malt and resiny pine hops. Some alcohol burn in the piney bitter finish. Medium semi soft feel. Better Han I we expecting, but the alcohol presence holds it back.
