A: Poured from the bottle into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is coppery/orangey-amber with a full 1-finger dense head of off-white foam.
S: Faint bready, grainy malt and citrusy (oranges come to mind) hops.
T: Nice balance for an APA - this is clearly not an IPA - with caramel and bread doughy malt for foundation, then modest hop bitterness. Earthy and herbal, with a touch of citrus peel.
M: Medium in heft, carbonation is pretty active with a faint "bite" to it.
O: Good stuff. Nothing earth-shattering, but solid.

Got a growler filled 3 miles from the brewery at a local Price Chopper. Shmaltz is usually on tap, which is great. Supporting local breweries. Love this Pale Ale! Crisp with a nice malt and slight hoppy taste.
