12oz bottle poured into a Sierra Nevada IPA glass.

Overall a great beer. Will add a detailed breakdown at a later point. Deep orange, slightly cloudy. About a 1" thick, dense head that took a good while to dissipate. The malts definitely take the lead here, caramel and toffee flavors shine through, mouthfeel is thick, almost syrupy.

Dark amber color with a solid head that retains. Great smell. Piney aroma with something else I can't really put my finger on. DEEP taste. Very heavy on the tongue. This is not your average beer. It packs a huge kick. Definitely a sipping beer. Good with dinner or on a cool day.

Pours a deep cloudy copper color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is decent. Has a very earthy, rye aroma. Also pick up some caramel and grassy hops. Very smooth taste. Very malty and earthy. Perhaps a little on the dank side. This is followed by a big grassy hop and a strong rye aftertaste. Hides the alcohol very well. Moderately astringent. Medium to heavy bodied with moderate carbonation.

12oz bottle. Pours a murky light brown color with 1/4 inch of head. Minimal lacing. Smells malty with some brown sugar and earth. Pine and floral hop notes. Tastes as malty as it smelled. Pine and floral hops along with brown sugar and earth. Floral hop bitterness at the finish with some more brown sugar and pine. Rye malts throughout. Oily mouthfeel. This is a really good malty Imperial IPA. Boozy, but I wouldn't have guessed this one was 10%. Overall, I'll be grabbing this again.

Pours a dark red, semi transparent with a small off white head.

The smell is really malty, sweet and strong. There are dark fruits, plums and rasins, smells great.

The taste is bitter and sweet, malty, dark fruits, very strong. There is a bitter hop precence but it is secondary to the malty dark fruit flavours. The hops are piney.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low to medium carbonation.

Overall this drinks like a red ale, reminds me of bear republics red rocket ale which I really like. The obvious difference is the high alcohol content. This is a dark fruit bomb and I do enjoy it but it doesn't taste like what I'd expect from a dipa.

Appearance: Ruby red, light brown color. Very slightly head, extremely light lacing. Low carbonation, just looks like a massive hop bomb.

Smell: A ton of saturated hop character with some lighter then expected rye accents. The hops just dominate with accents of prairie grass, straw, bitter pine, pinecones, and resin. Despite all the hops, excellent malt backbone which really brings this aroma full circle.

Taste: A front full of pine, bitter resin, maple syrup, and straw. The body yields to a strong malty sweetness with a perfect amount of hop accents. The finish is a palate punishing dryness with plenty of hop and malt brightness. Waves of complex flavor keeping flowing over the tongue, never letting up.

Mouthfeel: Bitter, palate punishing awesomeness with a wonderful malt body.

Overall: This beer is a hop bomb with so much more going on then just punishing hops. The palate is taken for a true ride and this comes out to be a truly memorable beer.
