A: The beer is rather hazy amber yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that quickly settled down and left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy and spicy hops are present in the nose along with hints of caramel malts.
T: The taste has flavors of citrusy hops along with notes of caramel in its malty backbone. Only a light amount of bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Compared to most Imperial IPAs that are currently on the market, this beer has a lot more balance between the malts and hops. Any traces of alcohol are well hidden from the taste.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a slightly hazy orange with a big off white head.

Aroma is a rich orange candy.

Taste is amazing orange candy. Lots of citrus with a sweet malt ribbon without.

12 oz bottle poured into a snifter. No bottling date to be found.

Golden orange color, small white head with tiny traces of lacing. Caramel malt and bitter, floral hops. Smell is on the weak side. First sip was very bitter and astringent so I waited about 15 minutes to allow this to open up. It actually surprised me as it became a much better experience. Simple malt/hop combo but it works. I can see myself revisiting once in a while.

I bought a case of No Shtick (Not the variety pack) at the Schmaltz Brewery. This pours a honey gold color and has a nice lasting head. The smell is not very abundant. Very subtle hoppy smell. The taste is actually fantastic! Very complex, hoppy. I sense a woody, piney character yet it is not bitter and actually gets better with every sip. The next statement you are going to find strange. I left one of these poured in a pint glass and sitting for a while. It got to slightly below room temp before I realized and took a taste. It is better than cold! The flavor seems to come to life at a slightly warmer than refrigerator temp. Say 50-60F. Maybe even take a case and just put it in your basement and drink straight. It is amazing. Great job Schmaltz!
