Clear red colored ale with a small tan colored head.

Smells sweet and malty with a strong tea scent. Treacle and brown sugar with mint pine aromas. Some caramel and vanilla in this VERY malty for a pale ale.

Starts out malty with a tea after taste. Herbal hop flavor tastes of tobacco and leather tastes like an English beer.

Mouthfeel is good.

Overall nice beer, not sure that dry hopping added much to the beer though.

12 ounce bottle -> Samuel Adams Perfect Pint

A- medium amber, fairly clear, large foamy head, unbelievable retention and lacing.

S - mostly pine, resin, floral, and biscuit.

T - mild but tasty with a distinct rye finish.

M - nicely carbonated, some aftertaste, but not offensive.

O- pretty nice beer, better than I expected.

A- Amber bodied ale out of the 12oz bottle into my tumbler. With some inspection particles can be seen floating around, maybe hops from the dry addition. A large head builds up with great retention and a foamy texture. Very nice thick lace rings coat the glass in a webbed manner.

S- Hops, malt and yeast come at me in a pretty balanced aroma. Hops bring some fresh citrus, pine and floral hints atop light caramel, toasted and cracked grain hints.

T- Like the nose, the taste is balanced out and fairly mellow (not in a bad way). Light caramel, toasted nut and biscuit malts support a clean citrus and floral forward hop profile. Slight yeast bread, spicy, fruit ester and grassy hints as well.

MF- Medium-light body with a moderately high carbonation. Smooth feel overall with a slight bitterness in the finish.

Balanced pale ale with a nice fresh citrus and floral hop feel.

A: Pours a darker amber brown. Ample head at pour scales back to a film on top of this beer. Some minor bits of chunky lacing present on the glass.

S: Leaves and brown sugar aroma.

T: Nicely balanced brew - not too bitter up front but just enough to keep it interesting. This is laced with a malt sweetner throughout.

M: Nice full carbonation. Could have a couple.

O: Really nice brew.
