I have been to Kris Wines many times over past few years. It is a small shop near Camden in North London. The selection is very good as they always have a lot of Belgian and British micro brews as well as a decent German selection and an ever increasing collection of US Beers. It's just a small store and things are a bit crowded but organized. The staff are super friendly but not overly knowledgeable. The beers are in good shape but I have seen a couple of beers (IPAs) that were were a bit out of date. IMO that is partially the consumers responsibility to check though. In the end the Prices are fair, staff are very nice and helpful and the beer selection is Great. I need to get back there soon.

Visited for the first time on Saturday, based on google rating. A little off the beaten track but easy enough to find.
An awful lot of choice and very busy on a warm Saturday afternoon. All beers orangised by country with a few surprise inclusions; Denmark, Norway, Argentina for example.
Friendly staff, bit couldn’t tell me when St.Bernardus Wit would might be back in stock, even though they do sell it. Same for two others beers I wanted to track down.
Reasonably priced, especially for the higher percentage beers.
Fixtures and fittings could do with an upgrade but not detracting too much from the experience.
I would recommend but advise that either phone in pre visit to check availability, or have an open mind about finding alternatives.

This bottle shop has the widest range of beers (700+) I've come across in the UK. It's takes plenty of effort to find & get to this place, but it's worth it. A range of bottles from Scandinavia, Belgium, Holland, the US, Italy, Germany, Australia, New Zealand & London breweries caught my eye, as well as the odd random bottle from France, Czech Republic etc..
Kris turned out to be a very helpful & friendly guy who obviously loves his job. As I brought my hard selected 20 bottles at the till, he presented me with a good quality bottle of beer on the house. Needless to say I'll be returning.

Outstanding independent beer retail shop in North London. Huge selection of Belgian and UK ales, as well as a good selection of German, American and Dutch offerings. Has all the big names from each country, and I have a hard time spending less than an hour in the shoppe per visit. Kris himself is a very nice guy and will engage you if you ask him questions or want to talk beer.

The only bottle shop I frequent anymore.
