Excellent store. The place is clean and well organized with lots of local craft brews. None of the Vermont "whales" as far as I could see, but who can complain when you can stock up on fresh Rock Art and 14th Star.

Excellent bottle shop, awesome selection of craft beers. Been here several times and never had an issue with freshness. Helpful and friendly staff. Great that you can place an order online for pick-up.

Great bottle shop in down town Ludlow, hadn't really been in that part of the state till a friends moved there recently. The service was great, the selection was even better. I could've spent a lot more money there than I did, but I wouldn't mind stopping back someday.

Wish the homebrewing supply section wasn't shrinking but that's more of an industry thing in this area than anything else. Grateful for what they have though!

GREAT bottle shop. I have a lodge in the area and drop in a few times every year and I never fail to find some great beers, both that I have tried and those that are new! Great workers there always willing to help.

This is a great craft beer store (plus wine and spirits) in Ludlow. It bests stores I have near me in the greater NYC area (Suffolk, LI). They seem to favor American IPAs and Belgian style beers, which is right up my alley. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they are able to get some of the harder to get VT beers. No, you will not find Heady, Sip, or HF stuff on the shelves...not their fault...to far from the source. You will find 14th Star Tribute, Second Fiddle, Hermit Thrush, Berlington Brews...there is lots of good local, US, and foreign beers here.
I consider this my local beer store even though I am only there every 2 weeks or so.

Stopped during my recent stay in the month of August. The store was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Though I did find some local VT brews (14th Star Tribute, Rock Art Limited Access, Hermit Thrush, and Groenfelle), I wanted more. Perhaps it was the timing (Hops in the Hills Beer Fest at Okemo), or just it's location being in southern Vermont. Still, this shop is definitely worth stopping in. The prices were fair (ex: Hermit Thrush was even a dollar cheaper than at the brewery), and the selection is about as good as it is going to get in this area.

stopped here to pick up some local beers while on a trip to Vermont.
Nice selection of beers from all over the country and Europe, including some limited release stuff.
The staff was helpful.

Ludlow Vermont is known for Okemo Ski Area and that was its biggest draw. But for craft beer fans you have an opportunity to go skiing and cap it off with some Switchback, McNeill's, Foley Brothers, Rock Art, and a slew of other Vermont and New England regional craft brews. The back wall is a cooler that sells everything from the inexpensive macros up to rare Belgian Abbey ales. Across from the cooler is a long aisle of crafts broken out by style although they do attempt to keep labels together too. Mixed 6-packs are possible but you have to select from a designated shelf. Knowledgeable staff are happy to answer questions and even dig out something from the back that they have not shelved yet. They also have growler refills but the taps are different each week.
