Beach Liquors

 

Vibe is better than average beach liquor store, though limited beer selection.

Quality of beers is good: obviously dogfish, some mispillion river, ocean city, evo and other nearby breweries.

Service is good, I did not need any help as the beer selection was small, limited and confined to a single space.

Selection was just above average - only a few coolers full of beer and a couple handfuls of large format or limited brews.

 

 

I was actually at the Coastal Hwy, Fenwick Island store, but had very enjoyable conversation with the manager, Bruno. While vacationing in OC, made the visit here in 2013, and was introduced to EVO, and their Lot 3!!
Store has recently begun filling growlers, with the intent to carry more options in the future.
Store has only been open for a little over a year, has some harder to find stuff; from DF, Stone, etc. But, they also have some brews from Delaware/Md's newer kids on the block, like Mispillion Rivers Reach Around IPA, thanks Bruno...was a great IPA!
Both times I've been to their store, I've have a very engaged conversation with the manager, even to recommend brews/eatery's to visit in MD, that aren't available in DE.

Once again more tax free liquor imbibing in Delaware, and what else but to check out another store. Bethany Beach is a very small beach town filled mostly with retirees, but just off Route 1 is this very small store.

Inside the selection is about 40% beer and 60% everything else. It's a bit small, but it's also incredibly clean and well lit inside. Staff is quite nice and being at the beach it is very friendly.

The selection is quite varied, but it is small, but there is easily good craft to be had and purchased here, and a few items I hadn't seen anywhere before. In fact the previous day new items came in including some DirtWolf from Victory.

This is a small little place, but if you have time to kill it doesn't hurt to take a quick gander to see if you want to find something special, or just grab some easy tasty craft beer.
