A- Dark ebony color. Translucent and deep dark color. No head. no lacing. Not what I'm looking for in a porter.
S- some roasted malt and coffee notes. Pretty dead on the nose, nothing enticing jumping out at me. Empty, lacking.
M-slick, low carbonation mouthfeel. wet without sugar. boring
T- some rich toasted marshmallow. Butterscotch diacetyl slickness. No chocolate. Eh... not much happening here.
O- Passable. Meh.

Pours a dark brown, almost black with one finger of tan head that leaves lacing down the glass.

Aroma is grainy and roasted. Chocolate, hints of coffee are about the only thing: straightforward but inviting.

Taste follows the nose: malt/grain, roasted coffee and chocolate. Finish is medium dry, moderate hop bitterness. Not complex but good and drinkable.

Mouthfeel is medium/light with moderate carbonation. Very light astringency from the roast.

Overall a drinkable, straight-forward porter, I might order another pint...
