look: 3.5 | smell: 3 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.5

Aroma is lightly hoppy with mostly grass smells but a little citrus too. I get some caramel malt a just a slight fruity yeasty smell.

Dark golden colored but not quite amber. Pored wit a smallish white head that fades to a thin whispy layer of bubbles. A little bit cloudy.

Flavor is kind of bitter on the front end but not too much. Actually, less than I'd expect for a West Coast IPA. But the hop flavor is right in there, Pine and citrus and green grass. There's plenty of base malt sweetness too. It's not a hugely bitter or hoppy beer.

Medium bodied with a light lively carbonation.

Overall, not sure where this fits in. As a standard pale, it's pretty damn good. But it seems toned down from most IPAs brewed around Washington these days.
