This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a slight hazy burnt orange to off sort of brown color. Slim finger’s white foamy head starts and dissipates at a nice pace. Messy lace occurs as the head dissipates. The smell starts off with a sly citrus hoppiness. Subtle pine notes glide into a sweet malt base. Somewhat dry, with a sticky hoppiness coming in. The flavor takes in all of the previously mentioned flavors sliding together sweetly. Bitterness shows a sly "oomph" slyly and riding on into the finish (kinda sticky). On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Fair sessionability to it. Sly carbonation. Overall, very nicely done AIPA, I could see myself coming back to this.

Had on tap from a fresh keg. Coppery color, slight haze. Sudsy white head with solid lacing. The aroma is faint, some caramel malt & some herbal notes. The flavor is grass, earthy and herbal in the hops up front. Pine and grapefruit also. Some malt comes through in the finish and gives it a nutty taste. A bit thin, & watery in the mouthfeel, but smooth drinking overall.

Mixture of those amber and copper colors, hits the 1/3" white head amass. Lots of alcohol and bitterness in the nose, not so much hops, malt or other stuff.

Taste was 100 ibu level simplistic one trick pony bitterness. Tons of c hop bitterness. Long boil. Crystal malt. Alcohol tastes more pronounced than it should. A double less than 7%? I guess maybe because of the high degree of bitterness?

Bomber format sucks price wise. This stuff is overly simplistic, would not bang again.

Dark copper with a light suddsy whitish foam. Light looking carbonation. Smelled of pine and lush green grass. Also I detect a mild earthyness and a little fruity apricot. The taste us also if green pine and green ivy in the firegrouns, but a malty body builds through the midsection and quickly gives way to a juicy booze finish with bitter grapefruit rind. The claimed 100 IBUs don't really overpower. The bittering is clean and fresh instead of dry like I would expect from a pale ale. In fact the dry hop finish is my least favorite quality of the pale ale so I'm happy to find it missing. The texture was thick and viscous and a little sticky. I rather enjoyed this in the 22oz format. This beer had a lot of firepower but I didn't find it overpowering.

The C hops really shine on this beer earthy and pine characteristics but pretty malty with the bitterness kicking in at the end not sure how old this beer is but overall pretty good

This beer seems to have a popular profile in the Portland market. After being given several recommendations I gave this one a go. A nicely done DIPA! Balances the heavy west coast hop profile with a sweet malt backend. Little herbal and flowery note in there. Smooth mouthfeel with a pleasant citrus coating.

Had this as a Seven Cs under the New Old Lompoc banner. One of the highlights of my beercation.
