Taster at taproom. Straw colored pour, cloudy, flat. Fruity aroma, light tartness. Taste is tart and sweet, funky yeasty notes, grassy. Ripe stone fruit.

Bottle from Blending and Bottling in Portland, ME. Pours a slightly cloudy pale gold with a flush of white head, decent lacing; smell is funky peach rings, under ripe peach flesh, peach skin, peach sorbet, wet soil, hints of lemon skin; taste is tart peach and apricot flesh, peach skin, tart peach jam, canned peaches, peach bubblegum, oak, hint of lemon flesh; feel is light and bright, medium acidity, mild carbonic bite, dr oak finish. Carbonated peach sauce.

Pours hazy amber gold with a dissipating white foam head. Smells like fresh funky peaches, peach pie, cobbler spices, graham crackery malt, oak barrel, acetic wine, barnyardy farmhouse, hay, straw, horse stable, with earthy floral hops. Tastes almost like a sour peach jolly rancher, fresh peaches, some caramelized malt sweetness, lemon, apple, melon, peach pie, cobbler spice, oak barrel, mild graham cracker, touch of leather, acetic wine, barnyardy farmhouse, hay, straw, horse stable, hints of banana, bubblegum, with floral earthy hops. Feels medium lighter bodied, creamy smooth with moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice blend of freshly-pressed peaches and mature barrel-aged farmhouse ales.

Poured from a 16.9 oz bottle into a stemmed harmony glass.
Pours a hazy golden color with a finger of creamy white head. The head leaves a nice ring of lacing before settling into a thin sheet.
The aroma brings notes of peaches and oak, as well as some lemon and orange rind. Has an underlying barnyard funk character.
The taste is very lemony and acidic up front; aggressively tart. There are notes of peaches and vinegar, as well as some yeast. Finishes funky and earthy.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Relatively dry. Puckering tartness.
Overall, a good beer that's honestly a bit hard to describe. It's very funky and very tart, yet offers plenty of underlying fruitiness to provide balance.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden color with a finger of bubbles that fades quickly to a collar; a few shards of lacing
Smell: Under-ripe peach, yeast phenols, lemon and oak; Bretty funk pervades
Taste: Lactic under-ripe peach and lemon forward with an austere oak aspect building through the middle; the tart fruit remains, throughout, with a dry, funky aspect in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: This is interesting in that all the flavors are well balanced - neither the sourness nor the funkiness nor the oak are out of whack
