Pours a pale straw color, clear coming out of the can, but with a little haze in the glass. Moderate head quickly dissipates, with modest lacing throughout.
The aroma opens with a hint of citrus and stone fruit. However, it is fleeting as it is soon overtaken by strong aromas of grass, floral and spicy hops. The bready and cracker like malt aroma also comes through, with a hint of honey throughout.
Upon first tasting, it is immediately apparent that this is a strongly hopped pilsner. It is brimming with grassy and spicy hops, along with a hint of lemon. Yet, the bitterness is mild overall, this allowing the hops flavors to interact with the malt. Well balanced, as the malt is also given a chance to shine; bready and crackery.
Almost medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel and moderate carbonation on par. A clean and dry finish keep things drinkable.
Overall this is a really well done, well hopped, flavorful, and refreshing pilsner.

i have not had many clean beers from these guys, but given the quality established in their wild stuff, it really comes as no surprise that this is as good as it is, a nice crisp but well hopped german-esque pils, really expertly put together, drinkable for miles, and the first beer i have ever seen from them in a can i think. its clear and very light colored, glowing golden in the glass under an inch of brilliant white head, pillowy and permanent. its very light in nose and taste too, mild and crushable beer, but more than a palate cleanser too, just a light belgian type pils malt at its core, maybe only that, and some minerals and crispness to the lagering part, but i dont taste much from the yeast, i feel it more than anything. the dry hopping is nice, but this does carry a little bitterness too, giving the finish even more zip. not sure what they use, but it could be a mandarina type, i get that mellow citrus and noble combination, although it could be a number of varietals at work here. the flavor is really mild, but it seems like the right mix of traditional and modernized, and i could drink it infinitely. the high carbonation and dryness are awesome, and the freshness matters, on point from the can. overall a really good beer, somewhat outside of what i know about these guys, but one i would likely buy regularly if it were available here in colorado. i love oxbow, always have, always will.

L: It's a pilsner! Straw yellow with a uniform fluffy head that leaves light white lacing across the glass.
S: Lemongrass and pilsner malt . . . a semi-stuffy nose makes mining for olfactory depth a bit difficult.
T: Light hay followed by lemony spritzer, rosewater, and mint: a bouquet of floral herbs and flowers that carries seamlessly into a crackery lemongrass finish. The profile here isn't profoundly deep, but a masterclass in delicate hop character.
F: light body that builds in creaminess toward a dry finish.

This drinks even lighter than a German pils usually should with the scent and flavor of a perennial garden mid-summer. If you could can nostalgia, it would taste a bit like this

Can. Gold with chill haze head and lace. Light grassy aroma with a touch of citrus. Similar sweetness with some cereal grains and medium herbal grassy bitterness and a touch of honey in the finish. Light and lively. Excellent.

Pours a hazy pale straw. The aromatics are really what jump off to me when I pour out the can. It's really floral, zesty. There's definitely a strong bready, crusty, but not in a burnt way, backbone that immediately stands out. That give way to a floral bouquet of citrus zest and maybe some white pepper bitterness. If there is any bit of criticism, it feels a little light for a pilsner. Regardless, I could sip many of these through out the night.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pilsner glass. Had a golden yellow color and a clear consistency. There was a 3/4", creamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.

S: A decent enough aroma of malt, hops, citrus fruit, and a grassy quality.

T: Tasted of a fair amount of hops (not too much, though), a hint of the grassy quality (never welcome), a lot of malt (present throughout), an herbal quality and some citrus fruit (lemon, in particular). This is one of those "not bad" kind of flavors. Pilsner isn't a flexible style but this one works well in its confines. It's light, sweet, and effervescent.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a lively finish. Light-bodied.

O: Not a bad lightweight beer. Worth a look.

Poured from a 3 month old can into a tall 12oz glass (almost a pils glass I guess)

L: slightly hazy straw gold, large white head that dissipates after a bit. Some lacing

S: bread (biscuit, white, sourdough) and some herb/pine notes

T: crisp and flavorful. Same bread notes as on the nose, this nice peppery finish I really liked. Each sip welcomed the next

F: what I’m looking for, light but not too thin with good carbonation

O: a Pilsner I’ll happily have again! Three months old and quite flavorful, would love to try some fresher stuff for comparison

Pours a slightly cloudy bright golden color. Effervescent. Thinnish white head dissipates pretty quickly, leaving no residual head.

Aroma has notes of grain, light bready malts with a slight grassy hop notes.

Taste follows the nose with notes of grains, some mild bready malts, but the emphasis is on the grain note. Grassy hop notes on the back end. There is a nice soft minerality to the flavor profile Mild woodsy bitterness on the back end that builds on itself as the beer is consumed.

Feel is light, crisp, and super drinkable. Bright carbonation. Abrupt slightly dry finish.

Overall a really nice accessible pilsner. I'd absolutely drink this one again.

Extra hoppy pilsner, nicely done.
Noble hops bring a deep earthy herbal and grassy tones. Solid and crisp malt with bread cracker and mild honey sweetness. Medium body and a dry finish, ready for the next sip!
Overall a nice solid beer, well crafted and highly drinkable.
