Poured from a 500 ml bottle dated 07/03/19 into the test glass
A - Garnet colored backdrop, transluscent body, gently carbonated.
S - Rapsberry, for certain, also a strong vegetal thread in there, as well as funky cheese rime. Both are a bit off putting.
T - Mixed culture impats a bit of funky flavors, coupled with the rapsberry they actually work rather well,
M - Crisp on the palate, there is an acidic quality, medium in body. That tart thread is the dominant feature.
O - An interesting offering, think young Framboise, The body is light enough and crisp.

Bottle from Whole Foods on the UWS, NYC. Pours a light amber/cherry head with a light pink red, smell is very vegetal/grassy/moss, macerated sour raspberries, wet/rotting wood, and buttery funk bordering on a soft cheese rind/horse blanket, taste is super sour underripe raspberry/blackberry and sharp cranberry bitterness up front leading into a grassy barnyard funk, finishing with a mild raspberry hard candy warmth, this beer is light and bright. A real funky sour wollop!

Had on tap. Seen this listed as a both a saison and a lager, so a saison lager it is! Oxbow does love crossing over styles. Cherry red with no head. Big raspberry aromas, funk, flowers and wild yeast. Taste starts like a farmhosue with yeast, raspberry, funk, and flowers up front, very delicate and lively, but then the lager malts and earthiness come to bring it down to earth a bit, yet still somewhat tart and acidic. Feel is light, funky, wild, springy, and crisp.

From Labor Day weekend notes:
Light pink head over blood pink body with minimal lacing.
Nose of raspberry, lime, with a bit of minerality as well.
Taste mirrors nose with a beautiful finish.
Very nice feel and overall a real nice fruited sour lager from Oxbow.

Pours a beautiful magenta. Some raspberry aroma on the nose, also you can smell the lactic acid. The raspberries are quite prominent, but not to the point of jamminess. There's a bit of herbal, chamomile/heather fruit skin in there with a touch of what can be described as tasting like how rubber cement smells. That flavor fades a bit as the beer warms. I want to like this more, but that character detracts from the whole for me.

A: Gorgeous...glowing pink with tons of bubbles. Looks like strawberry soda.

S: Grass, manure, tartness

T: Raspberry soda. Bright, tart, sweet, loads of funk. Finishes with a nice breadiness.

O: Lovely. Very unique at least for me. The last time I had an aged lager was when I found a Budweiser under my dorm room bed. It wasn't this good.
