Nearly clear with neutral gold color. Small head but very good lace.

Mild sour nose. Relatively neutral smell.

The flavor is more tart than the smell suggests. The carbonation is Relatively low. The body is neutral. Not as extreme as some sours but it still has a full flavor.

November 2018 bottle from the Blending and Bottling in Portland. Pours opaque medium dark amber with two fingers of white head and excellent lacing, smell is tannic grape juice, red grape preserve, sour raspberry, and oak, taste follows the nose with tart tannic red wine, grape skin, hints of sour apricot and peach skin, finishes with dry oak, feel is light with good carbonation, dry finish. You can definitely taste the wine founders on this nice dry, vibrant brew.

Tons of Brett funk on this one - muscles around the other flavors a little bit, but you still get some lemon zest, citrus loam, and other classic Saison flavors...more of a Brett saison than a wild ale
