Taster at brewery. Pale, cloudy golden, thin head. Light grassy, fruity aroma. Taste is super soft, bready, faint sweetness. Probably the most approachable farmhouse ale I've ever tried.

L-Pours a cloudy lightly yellow colored beer. Slightly carbonated with a frothy white head.
S-Bready and doughy sourness. The sourness is light and earthy. Yeasty, peppery and funky. Slight hints of lemon grass at the end. Some mellow hoppiness is there.
T-Sour, wheaty and grassy. Earthy and grainy as well. Some pepper and lemon grass. Slight white wine elements. Lightly bitter towards the end.
F-Light and dry.
O-A light, sessionable and tart farmhouse. I really enjoyed the drinkability of this beer as well as the subtle nuances like the pepper and funkiness. I'd absolutely have this again.

Pours pail straw (SRM 2-3) with a shallow and short lived, off white head. A webbing of lace turns to a collection of islands with a surprisingly resilient beer film clinging to the Offero wine glass. The haze glows for the duration as a fine silty sediment collects at the base.

The aroma opens with a light funk of horse blanket, perforated by coriander. There is a mild band-aid smell, ending with a very light lemon pith.

White bread is quickly followed by strong mineral flavors. Celery works its way out of the background. Bitterness is mild, tartness is faint, and sweetness is absent. This is earthy with a strong finish dominated by wheat and mineral flavors.

Very dry, actually dusty feeling, with a light body and the texture of denim. There is absolutely no hint of alcohol while carbonation is moderate with a fizziness.

This is another Grisette by Oxbow, more earthy than Grizacca was yesterday. It is a pleasant beer to enjoy as a starter. Today is quite, thankfully, and I can hear the leaves popping off the tree. I’m not really a fan of spelt, and think that may be holding these beers back. Still, knowing that, these are the first spelt beers worthy of drinking again.

Pours a slightly cloudy pale yellow with an enormous soapy head that falls quickly to a decent lumpy cap with messy cling to the glass.

The smell is pretty typical Farmhouse Ale with a wheat overtone. Very slightly funky typical of Oxbow, a bit yeasty, faint lemon, faint peppery snf coriander spice.

The taste is lively and bright, very pleasant. Definite yeastiness, light lemon and a spicy note that is complimentary. Nice earthy funk that is not too strong. A little tang from the wheat. Slight bitterness acts as an anchor.

The feel is light, refreshing and enjoyable. Overall, a nicely crafted saison and another Oxbow brew that screams to accompany food. It is certainly going nicely with the Thanksgiving sandwich.

Easy drinking, light and lively, ticks the boxes as being in the ambiguous family of Farmhouse brews.

On tap at the Oxbow Beer Garden in Maine on May 27, 2022.

Golden in color with a shirt lasting head and nice clarity.

Aroma is wheat, grain, toast, clove, coriander, and floral.

Low-medium mouthfeel

Sweet and toasted with a strong herbal character. Clean, crisp finish.

Bottle from B&B in Portland. Pours an almost clear pale yellow with a flash of white head, decent lacing, smell is muted sour wheat bread, lemon soda, grassy funk, taste is doughy sprouted wheat bread, hints of white grape skin and lemon candy, mild grassy finish, feel is light with vibrant carbonation, medium carbonic bite. Saison seltzer vibes.

Cloudy but really nice head; lemon rind hint to hay/grain/earthy nose; taste grainy/earthy/lemon accent; lightly bitter, tad heavy for style to me
