On tap at Monks

LOOK: yellow, slightly hazy, small whit e head , fades.
AROMA: Pinepple, grass
TASTE: pineapple, fruit esters, . taste is like 2/3 saison, 1/3 hoppy IPA.

FEEL: Creamy, dry finish. Light and bubbly.

Refreshing, but dryness leaves you thirsty.

Served on tap in a pint glass.

Appearance: Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Heavy lacing on the glass.

Smell: Hops, mild citrus.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Dry strong hops with a mild citrus taste.

Overall: Good brew, I would have this one again.

Pours a mild to bright yellow with a minimal white head, but good lacing that sticks around for 15-20 mins. The aroma is of lemon peel, roasted barley (though I don't think it's even an ingredient), earthy tones, and a finishing note of orange juice. The taste is of lemon, old yeast, malt, and a hint of lime juice maybe? Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied and perfectly carbonated for the style. Overall a great beer wouldn't drive to Newcastle again to get it though
