Finally a great beer bar in Southern Vermont! Though no Dirty Truth, or Moes- The Vous is a welcome addition to a beer starved region. Approx 20 taps- with no garbage and apparently the ownership is not shy in adding new towers (a new one popped up recently with 6 more beers).
The Owners are on scene and the bar staff is friendly, attentive and knows beer.
Heard the food is excellent as they strive for restaurant quality but want to keep the prices down. The beer, staff, atmosphere and wings are great.
Thank you Apre Vous!

12/16/2012 Old Rasputin on tap, $6 for 20 OZ glass. This place is excellent.

Because they named it after me? The name is hokie and the exterior unassuming, but Apres Vous seems like the quintessential small-town, hangout bar.

Visiting a friend who recently moved to Wilmington, we started off at McNeill's and dinner in Brattleboro before retiring to Apres Vous in the tiny heart of Wilmington. The cool-hued color scheme and sparse decor of this little place was offset by the warm flickering light of candles spread on the several tables and bar. It was quiet inside--I can't recall if there was any music--with several locals of all ages crowded around the copper-topped bar. It was nice to see that no one had stolen away to a corner table, instead huddling around the bar as if warding off the cold night air outside.

The selection was surprisingly good even if they did misspell Smuttynose several times on the menu, and leaned local. Smuttynose, Cisco, Trapp, Rock Art, Allagash, BBC and Trout River all made appearances on-tap. Almost all the beers were $5 for a 16 oz. pint, which would be good in Boston, but is slightly more than I typically pay when home in New Hampshire. I'm not sure what the going rate is for a pint in the Deerfield Valley.

Service was prompt, friendly and helpful--downright neighborly. We didn't eat, but the menu looked good, though it looked a bit more high-end than I would have expected.

I checked this place out by the suggestion of Kyle (the chef at the West Dover Inn).
He said that all of the restaurant people hang out at Apresafter work (apres is French for "after").

I can see why they go there. I was surprised by the quality of live music (John Brazile from Worcester) and the vibe that I would not have expected to find in Wilmington especialy on a Sunday night in the summer.

The owners were both there and the bartenders (Molly and Shemick)were good fun. Awesome beer selection! From Stone's Arrogant Bastard to Smutty Nose IPA, they have about 2 dozen draughts. Among them are interesting pours including Original Sin Hard Cider and I couldn't believe that they had Allagash Curieux on tap (pretty ballsy).

I had the Victory Donnybrook Stout with the Apres Burger (Vermont natural beef with Chipotle Aoili on a nice bulky roll with lettuce and tomato). It was really something! I go to Mount Snow very often and I will visit Apres Vous every time.

Beers are $5 for a 16 oz and $6 for a 20 oz with exceptions Widmer Bros. black IPA $6/$7 and the Allagash Curieux is $6 for a 25 cl. glass.

I heard a lot about this place from friends during the ski season, but didn't get a chance to visit until I went to Vermont on a fishing trip last week. The owners and most of the staff relocated from Newport, RI and really seem to know their stuff.

The beer selection is great. When I was there they had Smutty Nose Finest Kind IPA, Shoals Pale Ale, Rock Art Ridge Runner, Stoudt's Scarlet Lady, Trout River Red Ale, Allagash White and Curieux, Victory Donnybrook Stout, Widmer Brothers Citra Blonde Summer and others that I cannot remember all on tap.

Molly was great behind the bar and knowledgable. The copper bar and tables make for a cool yet warm atmosphere. As for the food, I had already eaten, but everything that I saw looked and smelled delicious. I will wait to eat there next time I visit Wilmington.
