Served on-draught into 500ml pilsner glass in California. Reviewed from notes. Paired with barbecue.

A: Pours a half finger head which is quite thin, has only slight cream, and is of bad retention. Colour is a clear gold.

Sm: Honey, fresh barley, and light cream. A mild to moderate strength aroma.

T: Crisp pleasant honey - especially on the finish - is wonderful. Very full bodied and refreshing, with clean barley as an unobtrusive foundation. Pairs well with food. Not horribly complex, but the honey couldn't be done much better. Wonderful finish. Great lacing throughout.

Mf: Smooth, wet, and deliciously crisp. Very complementary of the flavours.

Dr: The best executed honey note in a beer I've ever had [note from 2016 kojevergas: the best honey flavour distinction now goes to a beer made by an Estonian brewery]. Incredibly drinkable. I could down this all night.

Draft to pint

App- This was that color of you know what when you dont have enough water for a couple days, but the two finger head made up for up and the puffiness and some nice cling.

Smell- It's all down here from here. This smelled just like water with some corn. That was it. Microwave some corn, add water. Voila.

Taste- Take a creme soda, add ice, some booze and water it down. This would be that beer.

Mouth- Medium/High. A lot of bubbles in this one but just no aftertaste which I was thankful for.

Drink- Overall, I am glad someone bought me a pint of this. I would have been mad spending money on this.
