I think this is a really refreshing beer, but it's not for everyone. The ginger can be overpowering, but if you like ginger, you'll like this beer. It's an interesting combo.

This beer is really great for sushi fanatics. The ginger cleanses your palate in between pieces. I just wish my local sushi joint served this instead of Sapporo.

On tap at the brewery.
A fine looking beer, this sparkling golden ale has a lasting head. This variant on a Belgian witbier is notable for the addition of a substantial amount of ginger. This makes for a fine aroma, but there's too much ginger in the flavor, masking much of the more subtle grain and yeast elements.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body; very good carbonation.

O: nearly a cross between a ginger beer and a witbier.

Poured from the tap at the Distillery in Savannah, Georgia. The appearance is a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma is mostly ginger. The taste follows the nose. A very good beer, i think it would score higher if the amount of ginger used was cut back a little to allow the traditional witbier flavors to be more pronounced.

Decent wheat beer. Ok with it.
