First beer I had from Monday Night. Tried it at first at room temp. Bad idea. Chilled it's perfect for after a hot day working in the yard.

Poured from the tap at the Distillery in Savannah, Georgia. The appearance is a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma is mostly ginger. The taste follows the nose. A very good beer, i think it would score higher if the amount of ginger used was cut back a little to allow the traditional witbier flavors to be more pronounced.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and great lacing. Smells of sage, herb, hint of cream, slight yeast, hint of rosemary, and a hint of pale malt. Fits the style of a Witbier. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of rosemary, sage, slight cinnamon, slight pale malt, slight cream, hint of hop, hint of caramel malt, and yeast. Overall, decent appearance and aroma, but good body, blend, and feel.

Pilsner-like dark gold with a finger of white head. Strong lemongrass and coriander in the aroma, which carry over to the crisp taste, rounded out by some biscuity malts. Fairly light bodied. Refreshing.

My brother brought me a 6 pack of different beers from this brewery when he came home to Cleveland to visit from Atlanta a few weeks ago. Thanks Mark, you rule! Poured into one of my pokal glasses, this beer pours a fairly cloudy, hazy medium golden color with a nice, fluffy white head that's about an inch when first poured that settles to a good solid 1/4 inch thick after the beer sits for a bit. Good retention and lacing here. Aromas of wheat, ginger, and a sort of herbal/grassy citrus. Has a good, crisp, wheat, somewhat bready and slightly toasted malt sweetness upfront with a slight hint of caramel that immediately gives way to a very nice ginger note that is rounded out with a slight citrus hop bitterness. Has a crisp, yet smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a very clean finish. Just an absolutely fantastic beer on this fairly humid and warm, late summer night here in Cleveland. I am very happy I got to try this. One of the best beer's of this style I have ever had. Worth a try for sure. I'll have to have my brother get me more of this!

Eric
