On tap at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
Pours a dark brown almost black, similar to the rest of these variants. Small quarter inch head, recedes quickly to an oily film. A little bit of lacing.
Smells like rich chocolate fudge, vanilla, and oak. No coconut aromas.
The coconut comes through a little better in the taste, but the the "cocoa" part of the "cocoa-nut" comes through a little better. A little bit of roasted malt, very mild toasted coconut, and tons of rich, dark chocolate, very fudgey.
Medium bodied, creamy and smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation.
The 3rd best Framinghammer variant of the night, probably.

Picked this up at the brewery last year, shared with rudzud. 2014
Light fizzy creamy like seeker darker small head, pretty much pitch black nice legs.
Nose nice dark chocolate, fudgey, decent but mild coconut, toasted marshmallow, little caramel thing, mild toasted vanilla barrel, mild nutty note in the background.
Taste brings tons of sweet mild chocolate, super creamy lush milk chocolate, cocoa, a mild coconut milk, nice toasted marshmallow, some vanilla like barrel and little baking spices, and hint of bourbon, hint toasted oak, mild bitterness, toasted coconut starts to really come through as it goes. Finish nice bitterness, little sticky sweetness, lingering milk chocolate and creamy cocoa, mild coconut, mild barrel, etc lingering.
Mouth is med bod but super creamy lush milky, decent carb, mild sticky.
Overall quite nice, so lush creamy milky, nice coconut and marshmallow, tasty and enjoyable even after the age.

About one year old. 500ml bottle served in a snifter 4/19/2015.
A- Darker brown body, almost black. Quite opaque. One finger white head that fades away quickly, no retention or lacing.
S- I would let this beer warm up before serving. Chilled, it gives off a slightly metallic aroma that only hints at what is beneath. When it gets warmer, you can smell a fair amount of coconut and a bit of acidic coffee. Slightly metallic, but it is outpaced by the milk chocolate, mild vanilla, bourbon and the coconut of the remainder of the beer.
F- Milk chocolate, bourbon, hint of vanilla, plenty of coffee and a fair amount of coconut. The coconut is definitely complementary here to the base beer and coffee. The barrel is present just enough to remind you that it is there but without overwhelming anything else. Drinking solid at one year.
M- Medium bodied, smooth with good carbonation. Not difficult to drink, but certainly a sipper.
O- Very solid offering from Jacks Abby. Not too hot, plenty of coffee and just enough coconut although I wish it had a bit more of it.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing this 2014 vintage.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a super dark brown almost black with a fat mocha head that leaves thin wisps and thick halo.
S - Aromas of light coconut and chocolate, good bourbon barrel notes. Toasted marshmallows, light barrel nuttiness, vanilla, oak. Really aromatic.
T - Taste is loads of milk chocolate, toasted marshmallows, nice coconut, good barrel notes, lots of natural vanilla, nice bourbon as well. The chocolate is really fudgy with some nice coconut milk too. Good bourbon, pleasant with the alcohol hidden nicely.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy, smooth, alcohol hidden well.
O - Overall this beer was really delicious, great marshmallow notes, the coconut is nice too. Milk chocolate too, man I wish I had this fresh.

Tried after PB&J variant, I think I love coconuts just as much or more than said sandwich.
A-Pours pretty like of of the Framinghammer variants. Dark, full and enticing. When agitated, the head grows to a respectable pillow if light tan foam. Lacing is a constellation of tan dots.
S-Impressive coconut aroma. There are also cocoa nibs added to this beer and I do get a bitter cocoa aroma. To me, the cocoanut and cocoa nibs are fairly balanced in the nose. Also, I dare not neglect the base beer which is ripe with oak, coffee and roast.
T-The flavor is unsurprisingly spectacular. I actually think this is the least harsh of the Barrel Aged Framinghammer varients I have tried. Sweet, fleshy coconut. Intense cocoa nib. Oak, residual chocolate, roast and noticeable vanilla.
M-I found this beer to be softer than its cousins. Booze hidden better. Lacks soft of the hedonistic values of its kin. Still feels sexy, though.
O-Hard to judge which one of these Framinghammer's I like the most. They are all so close together because the base beer never becomes overshadowed.
