Thanks to JLindros for sharing.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a clear straw hue with a thin wispy head that leaves thin wisps.

S - Aromas of huge quinine notes, bitter pine tar, ginger. Rather overpowering.

T - Taste is like the nose, loads of quinine, ginger, lemon, weak malts, lager yeast. Somewhat harsh, still not bad.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, crisp, sessionable.

O - Overall this was a very interesting beer, nice take on a gin and tonic.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This is Sunny Ridge barrel aged with quinine and Gin botanicals.

Smells fairly minty, also like gin, with some typical pilsner malt flavors.

The taste is similar, much like a cross between a gin and tonic and a beer. Fascinating flavor. Slight citrus zest, and some mild bitterness.

Light bodied, crisp and sprightly mouthfeel, medium carbonation.

What an interesting and weird beer. The additions to Sunny Ridge worked pretty well here.

Growler filled yesterday. Shared with rudzud and threelions.

Decent smaller fizzy head, fades pretty quickly, hazy golden slight orange tan color.

Nose brings tons of quinine, little pine tar and sap like, bit too much quinine, nice ginger note, little grassy pilsner note, little lemony rind thing.

Taste brings more quinine right off, bitter pine sap and juniper like, then nice ginger great ginger, little wheat like grassy pilsner note, little lemon rind, light tonic like in the back end. Finish is dry but bit sticky, little bitterness, more lemon, quinine and ginger.

Mouth is med bod, little lighter, decent carb, just a bit light.

Overall ok but not as great as I expected. This was worlds better at the brewery, fairly meh now. Not sure what the difference was, smaller pour, different temp, different source, it's fairly fresh so shouldn't be this bad. Just sad that it's nothing like it was at the brewery.

Odd pils and juice combo, much prefer the regular sunny ridge.
