Thanks to JLindros for sharing.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip and almost clear chestnut hue with a thin white head that leaves a thin thin head.

S - Aromas of just smoke and dagger, no other notes, rather bland.

T - Taste is just regular ol smoke and dagger, light marshmallow notes, faint chocolate. Rather meh.

M - Mouthfeel is thin and watery.

O - Overall this was very disappointing. should be so much more assertive.

On cask at the Old Toad for their cask festival.

Pours a dark brown, with black tinges, with no head or lacing.

Smells like smoke, some light roasted malt, and not much else. Kind of weak.

I'm not really getting any smores flavor in this- no chocolate, graham cracker, or fluff. Just bacony smoke, and very little roasted malt. Kind of just a boring campfire.

Light bodied, almost flat mouthfeel. Drinkable, but kind of watery.

A miss from Jack's Abby, they don't generally have too many misses like this.

Growler filled yesterday, shared with rudzud and threelions.

Light creamy fizzy head fades fairly quickly, dark brown slight reddish maroon color.

Nose is pretty much plain smoke and dagger, very faint marshmallow and cocoa nibs, touch of lactose, brown sugar, caramel, etc.

Taste is meh too, little smoke, rauchbier, very faint cinnamon and Graham cracker note and touch of marshmallow, some bitterness, hint lactose, etc. Caramel and brown sugar, candy, fair sweetness. Finish is sweet candy, little lactose, sticky, etc.

Mouth is med bod, sticky syrupy, etc, decent carb.

Overall eh. Again this was worlds better at the brewery when I sampled it. I really don't understand what happened with the two growlers as they're much more muted than when I had the samples. Perhaps our taste buds were overwhelmed this time and when I was at the brewery my taste buds were raw. Not sure.
