Amber color, leaning towards brown. Cloudy. Decent starting head but it completely settles to no bubbles and no longterm lace (there is some initial spots and streaks at the top of the glass.)
Appropriately malty with excellent toasted Crystal malt aromas. Light vegetation (weedy) deep in the background.
The malt base starts the taste, then fades, then returns in the swallow and aftertaste. In between is the enough hop bitterness to make this an intriguing brew. I find this combination to be very unusual. Yet, the sum of the parts exceed any expectations. Very rich for the style, which happens to be my personal preference. The carbonation is muted, further enhancing the effect. Overall, I find this to be one of the best Märzen beers I've had.

Poured from a fresh growler picked up 3 hours ago into a pilsner glass.
A - Apricot puree, colored, near perfect carbonation feeds upward and accumulates into a lovely frothy cap.
S - Beautiful biscuit nose, sweet malt blend seamlessly with tropical hops aromatics from Hallertau Blanc.
T - Malt sweetness to begin, a bit of honey on crackers, delightful.
M - A bit round and full coating, the carbonation keeps things humming.
O - A superbly crafted offering, we enjoyed this at the brewery, and brought this gem home.

Excellent kellerbier. Golden/burnt orange in color, only mildly turbid. Aroma and flavor is that of toasty bread, honeyed graham cracker, buscuit, and a touch of floral hops. Quite sweet overall. Undoubtedly super refreshing and well balanced, body was light and carbonation was high, making for a crisp beer.

I had this at Jack's Abbey and took a growler home
look; a beautiful medium golden, 1-1/4 inch white head both at Jack's and from the growler(much taller if you pour harder), leaves a covering and rings of lacing
smell; such a classic buttered biscuit, hint of popcorn, a tiny bit of salt,
taste; like the smell, add a little munich hops, just the right amount of gentle honey maltiness
feel; smoooth, hint of carbonation just right, lovely, medium light body
overall; a beautiful vienna lager, have one at Jack's if you can, a perfect beer hall beer and nice at home, too
