Poured from a 16oz can.

Looks a lovely copper with a good fluffy white head. A bit hazy as there was some sediment in the can.
Smells nice, some honey bready malts and mild hops.
Tastes great, good malt flavors with honey, biscuit, bread and light caramel. A moderate bitterness with typical noble hop flavors, a little earthy and herbal.
Feels pretty good, medium body and a little chewy, with a dry finish.

Overall, great! Yet another solid lager from Jack's Abby.

A: very slight haze; deep gold in color; 1+ finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a thin cap; very nice lacing;

S: robust aroma; grain is predominant with a little nuttiness behind it;

T: a straight forward Vienna lager; nice, crisp, a little less sweet than many others; mild bitterness on the finish;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;

O: would match well with a lot of foods;

It's subtly hopped and fairly dry. It's slightly tart (about as tart as Guinness Extra Stout). It's got a pleasant roasted malt aftertaste. There are no obvious indications of adjuncts (no hint of corn or hardener). At its price-point it's too expensive to be a session-beer but it's my first choice to serve to dinner guests.

16oz. can served in a tulip pint. Pours a hazy, burnished gold with a tight, fizzy, quarter inch, off-white head the sizzles and disperses towards the edges. Subdued notes - suggestions of noble hops and traces of sour mash and grassy notes. No surprises in the flavor profile - consistent with nose; however, the hops character is slightly more pronounced. Mouthfeel is light in body with a pleasant, even carbonation and a semi-dry finish. Overall, easy drinking and a nice example of the style.

Undated 16 oz. can poured into Belgian ale glass.

L: 3F foamy head with good retention, lots of lacing and cap and ring. Beer is a clear bronze/copper.

S: Floral and fruity, light malts.

T: Flowery and honey-like moving across the palate into bread dough.

F: Light to medium bodied, medium to full carbonation. Very crisp and easy to drink. Good construction and balance.

O: Another great lager from Jack's Abby and you most definitely can drink this all day.

A: Honey-golden body with a small off-white head on top.

S: Quite a bit of bread dough, plus some crackery malt. Touch of florally hops.

T: Very good for the style - clean. Bread dough, touch of husky grain and lemony, floral hops on the finish provide some balance to the malt.

M: Light in heft, carbonation is modest.

O: An excellent representation of the style. If I could go back to college today (some 29 years after I started), I'd want to drink this while playing quarters (or beer pong or whatever drinking game the kids are playing today). It's an easy drinker, moderate in ABV, but with good flavor. Jack's Abby does lagers well.
