Not a fan of this beer whatsoever. Frankly, it doesn't even taste like a beer. This is a disappointing beer from a solid brewer of good beers. Jack's Abby gets a mulligan on this one!

Overall it’s a great summer beer. Juicy and light. Great bright orange color. Nice mouthfeel and a real easy drinker. Could maybe be a tad juicier but I love where it’s at now too. Super citrus nose. Cheers!

This beer is beautiful. It pours a hazy pinkish orange color with a two finger, frothy off white head. Retention is great and there are sticky rings of webbed lacing left all over the glass.

Smell is very heavy on the blood orange with a hint of lager yeast.

Taste is much more balanced and enjoyable. The blood orange is still very pronounced, but there are spicy and herbal hops, as well as wheat balancing it out.

Feel is light, smooth and easy drinking. So so drinkable and very refreshing.

Overall this beer is great for what it is. I was worried from the smell that it would be way too fruity, but the taste is much more balanced. Perfect for a lawnmower, beach or golf course beer. I could drink this like water on a hot day.

Tangerine, orange and toasted grain. Light delicate flavor overall. Easy drinking for sure and not too sweet. Semi dry finish. Not bad.

Consumed 5/6/18

A: Golden orange with pink tones throughout, more pink than I would have guessed - some chill haze - pours with a small white head, fades to a few wisps and a small collar, leaves a little lacing

S: Fairly neutral lager base with loads of blood orange - mild overall, the blood orange really shines - kind of smells somewhere between an orange soda, a citrus sherbet, and a beer - fleshy citrus and raspberry - some hints of lager yeast and a touch of spice - wheat cereal, some pale grain - light grainy and fruity sweetness

T: Super soft and mild, yet also crisp and refreshing - juicy, fleshy citrus, orange with hints of raspberries and other berries - an interesting interaction between the citrus and the wheat lager that somehow reminds me more of an orange Creamsicle than an orange soda - slight hints of lager yeast and some spice, but the beer part of this is mostly just some soft wheat and some hints of pilsner malt - lightly sweet without being overly so - very clean and refreshing

M: Light body, crisp yet also smooth, clean finish

O: Sometimes I forget radlers exist

I am pretty sure that I've had this at the brewery in the past, but sitting down with a pint of this and really thinking about it is a different experience. Radlers that I have had in the past have been generally underwhelming. Blood Orange Wheat, at the very least, is very interesting, particularly if you enjoy blood orange.

Can from Colonial Spirits Acton
Hazy light golden orange color with a thin bubbly white head that persists. Big orange and peel aroma with lots of that flavor as well as a hint of bready malty beer underneath. Orange soda beer, it kind of works.

Poured from a pint can into a pint glass. White head, bubbly but not thick. Body of the beer is orange with a tinge of pink, from the Blood Oranges used. Aroma is very much the scent of oranges. The first sip was surprisingly refreshing, a light lager with a definitive taste of oranges, low abv. This is the perfect beer to accompany a Cobb salad, or to bring to the beach. Not at all sticky sweet, but well balanced for a fruit beer.
