Many of us grew up eating peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches. Some say it's a New England thing. We say it's delicious. And since we're all just big kids now, we thought that this would be the perfect inspiration for a Framinghammer variety.

Pours a dark brownish frothy 1 finger head with lower retention, some lacing, jet black color decent legs
Nose very sweet, starting with sweet chocolate, marshmallow, caramel candy quite nutty with big peanut butter, a bit of cinnamon Graham cracker, baking spice, cocoa, touch of roast
Taste brings big creamy chocolate, cocoa, a bit of vanilla barrel and coconut, pretty nutty with peanut butter, a little roast and coffee, touch of alcohol, bitter roast and little earthy hop, creamy marshmallow and some caramelized sugars, vanilla spice late,
Mouth is fuller bod,a bit creamy, med frothy carb, fair warning alcohol
Overall not bad, decent base beer but it gets a bit overpowered by the sweet marshmallow and peanut butter, not really balanced and most of the base beer is overpowered

On tap at The Angry Goat Pub in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like creamy peanut butter candy, melted marshmallow, ice cream, chocolate, and bourbon.
This is one of the sweetest beers that I’ve had from Jack’s Abby, but it still does work in a 5 oz pour. The peanut butter and marshmallow play well together, as anybody who likes candy would know, with just that slightest touch of barrel, which is nice.
This is medium bodied, creamy, smooth, and not boozy at all. It’s pretty decadent.
This falls in line with most craft beer getting sweeter and sweeter over the years, but it’s still an enjoyable variant.

550ml bottle poured into a snifter
A- pours black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that has short retention before settling into a ring around the glass
S- initial aroma smells just like a peanut butter cup; roasted peanuts & chocolate. Undertones of marshmallow, vanilla, caramel & light oaky bourbon barrel
T- sweet chocolate and caramel up front is quickly followed by a hit of roasted peanuts. Mid-palate gives notes of rum soaked dark fruits and some charred malt. The finish brings out bold barrel notes; adding barrel juice, peppery bourbon and oak.
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns slightly creamy into a warming finish

The nose is amazing smells like sticky gooey peanut butter but, no marshmallow. Taste follows the nose with a touch of sweetness from the marshmallow. I would have rated this beer MUCH higher if the body was thicker. Great rate but very thin body.

Good head production and decent retention.
Tons of peanut butter on the nose, nearly overwhelming everything else. Additional notes hiding in the background include coffee, honeycomb, caramel, bourbon, chocolate, and vanilla.
Flavor is a mix of banana, bourbon, peanut butter, caramel, prune, and vanilla. Peanut butter is far less dominant than it is on the nose, but still quite noticeable, settling into a nice middle ground. The sweetness is a bit artificial in nature, and detracts from the experience somewhat. It is naturally a dessert beer, and the level of sweetness isn't what's off so much as it is the artificial expression of it.

Pours opaque, jet black in color with one half inch head. Taste is peanut butter and marshmallow with Baltic porter, milk and dark chocolate. Heavy body, cloying, with low carbonation. Delivers on the taste but is a bit undrinkable due to the cloying nature. Malty but too sweet. The peanutbutter is good bur too much mallow. Happy with one but no desire to have a second.
