Went here on a recent Sunday afternoon and was underwhelmed with the experience. The beer was great and I'm glad I came to the brewery because I got to try things that I haven't seen and don't think I'll see in stores like the Cucumber Basil Sour that was perfectly refreshing.

The establishment and actual beer hall is a great open space and impressive; I wish I had gone on a tour to see the entirety of it and to see the barrel room.

Before ordering, the server gave us specials but couldn't remember what they were or what was in them and looked back at the specials board (which we were reading anyways and she acknowledged) and described the caprese salad as having, "mozzarella, tomatoes, annndd something else". When we were served our food, the other server who delivered them said, "Can you believe there are two tabs open for Smith right now?" Could be confusing except that wasn't our tab, so while we got the right food, it was under someone else's tab and when receiving our check our waitress said to make sure it was right because she put everything on there from memory.

We ended up ordering the pretzel and the wings which were both lacking in flavor and portion. The pretzel was quite small and not worth $5 while the wings were too greasy and flavorless.

So while the beer is great, that's all I'd suggest because our experience was unfortunately underwhelming.

The quality of the beer and food is very good. It's hard to beat fresh small-batch draught beer with a wide range of styles. The food is surprisingly good even if half of the menu is pizza. (Harpoon could take a lesson here!) I've had a range of servers from perfectly helpful and timely to completely clueless. The vibe is where Jack's Abby loses it. Sound system is woefully under-powered and mismatch for this warehouse turned brewery-restaurant. There's a serious lack of noise-absorbing cloth or wood. Add to this over-bright warehouse lighting and no comfortable standing room, and you've sucked any potential for vibe right out of the room.

Nice updated tap room, well staffed. Low ceiling and adjacent neighborhood leave something to be desired but once you get some quality, fresh beer lil seems to bother.

I stopped in the day before Independence Day and the guys were there til 8pm, just wish they had a limited run keg on to broaden my brewery experience. A couple bombers and the ever delicious Mass Rising made their way back to CT though.

Finally went to the beer hall/brewery tonight. The space is in a giant office building with plenty of street, lot, and side-of-building parking. When you enter, there is a shop where you can fill growlers, buy some cases and packs, and merchandise. To one's right is the beer hall, with multiple long table, communal seats and a large bar area.

I was a bit confused by the set up. The host said to go to the bar first to start a tab, but we sat first only to be told that was not normal procedure but we were ok. I decided to order the sampler, which was hard to do with 24 tap lines. I ordered Smoke & Dagger, Leisure Time, Excess IPL, and the Double Barrel Aged Framinghammer. In terms of food, we both ordered the mac and cheese for a dinner and the pretzel as an appetizer.

Although I really dug the vibe and the servers were super cool and nice, service was a little off. We had one guy serve us first but then he had to do another assignment he said, so we waited 10 minutes before another person came by before we could get in our order. When it was time for the check, a different waiter took our bill. So we had 3 different waiters over a longer than expected period of time. In terms of food, it was ok. It was not spectacular, but it was good. The mac and cheese was quite filling and the sauces for the pretzel were great.

Overall, if I lived nearby, I would frequent this place, especially to see the service more in action. Like I said, everyone there was really nice and cool, but I wish there was more order in general. Otherwise, great atmosphere, good beers, and decent food.

Great beer and a great tour. The taproom is a little small but does big things. Growler fills and whatever is on tap is always so good. Very knowedgable staff.
