I've only had this on tap. They tend to have it at local joints even far out from Mt. Pleasant. Nice, brewery, nice beers.

On tap at the Back Porch Restaurant in Speers PA poured into a pint glass:

Look: Pours a very nice dark brown with about an inch of head with some lacing present.

Smell: Aroma of caramel, toffee, and nutty goodness. Also some roasted malts present.

Taste: Taste follows the nose for me on this one. Lots of caramel, toffee, nuts, and roasted malts. Maybe a hint of chocolate or cocoa as well. Very tasty brown ale!

Feel: Medium bodied.

Overall: Very solid brown ale from Helltown! This is one of the better brown ales I have had and I am glad this is a local brew and can be obtained on a regular basis. These guys make great brews all around. If in the Pittsburgh PA area I recommend checking these guys out!

Draught @ Tapped: This one pours an opaque dark brown color. There was about a finger of a tan head.Nice nose. Mainly malty and nutty. The taste is good. Malts, faint chocolate nuttiness. Nice.

16 oz glass at Brunzies bar at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Not much lacing. Beer has a distinct sweet taste to it like an English Brown Ale should. Goes down smooth with a neutral aftertaste. Enjoyable beer.

Draft poured into shaker pint

A: deep caramel color can almost see through it but not quite not much head

S: Sugary, sweet toffee a little nutty a little roast

M:  fairly thin pretty standard for a brown ale but this almost seems watery

O: while a solid beer and one you can sit and session it really isn't mind boggling either, you want something lighter but with a pleasant but forgettable taste grab one.
