Poured from a twist off bottle into a small tumbler glass. Reddish mahogany brown, a little murky with visible sediment. Creamy, lasting tan foam, that leaves a nice collar of lacing around the edges.

Mild roast coffee and chocolate, light vanilla bean sweetness. Lightly roasted malt. Mellow body, somewhat light feel though a little bit watery. Clean with no off flavors. Tastes pretty good, though it could use a more robust body to live up to it's "3-D" name.

Poured from bottle chilled into standard pint glass. My bottle does not say "3-D" on it, but "Oatmeal Stout" is written in a 3-D font, so I believe it is the same. Also says, "Oatmeal infused Dark Ale."`

A=Rich, dark brown...could see a bit of cloudiness in the pour. Produced a two finger head that lasted nearly a minute. After it settled a bit, it is a cloudy reddish brown, and a bit transparent.

S=Excellent...malt and bread.

T=Before I take a taste, I had one of these a few months back and was disappointed. I let this one sit to warm up to 45 degrees or so. First sip--similar to what I experienced--a rather watery concoction, not at all reminiscent of either a Porter or a Stout. Has a grape taste like wine, albeit a bit sour. Can taste lemons and faint hint of bourbon. Actually pairs well with bratwurst, but much more like a shandy than a Porter.

M=For the style, this is way too watered down.

O=I won't buy this again, and do not recommend it. Unless you are looking for a sour, dark beer to drink quickly and easily, you should avoid this.
