Pours a cloudy, dark brown on top that fades to a dark copper. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of citrus hops, sweet malt, slight earthy malt, and a hint of pine. Fits the style of an American Amber / Red Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, earthy malt, slight citrus hops, wood, hint of biscuit, and a hint of grain. Overall, great appearance, good complexity, and blend.

A solid red ale. The listed IBUs are surprising as it is higher than for their IPA, but I suppose the malt covers the hop bitterness well. Only a touch of sweetness, and the hop bitterness appears in the finish.
