Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of strong sourness, hint of sweet malt, hint of pale malt, hint of yeast, hint of wood, and a hint of hops. Fits the style of a Tripel. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Strong sourness is also a considerable surprise, but very welcome. Tastes of tartness, sourness, hint of hop, hint of yeast, hint of smoke, and hint of sweet malt. Overall, good aroma, blend, and body. This beer was addicting!
