Thanks, match1112!

A beautiful and very tasty schwarzbier from Rolling Meadows. I've been quite impressed with what I've had from them, and this is no exception. Nice notes of roast and a little bit of char mix with bittering hops and a clean, crisp lager finish. Very drinkable, while remaining interesting. Very nice.

The Lincoln Logger is one of the best Black Lagers or Schwarbier I've had. The beer poured a nearly opague dark with a ruby hue. The beer had a soft white head which laced down the entire pint glass. The scent was a malty rich roastthat was quite nice. The taste was a good mix of roast and caramel malts with enough bittering hops to balance the beer just enough to make the malts pleasing. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall this is my favorite from Rolling Meadow....nice job!
