Aroma is wheat, citrus/orange and very medicinal. The flavor is citrus/orange, wheat, a very creamy body and a mix of medicinal and tart in the finish.

On tap at the South of 80 craft beer week event at Green Lady. Served in a shaker pint, quick review from notes. I'd guess this is the follow up to Vampire Hunter, a new recipe and new spring seasonal.

Murky opaque orange body with a slight pinkish hue from the blood orange, Sticky dense foam that coated the glass over time.

Big tropical fruity aroma, sort of a Hawaiian Punch passionfruit citrus from the blood orange dominates, with some light supporting esters from the hefe yeast. Smooth bodied and very drinkable, a bit sweeter than the standard issue Springfield Wheat, their base Hefeweizen. Fruit dominates the taste as well, notes of passionfruit, banana, and blood orange, with hints of wheat in the aftertaste. Found this to be very drinkable, and a big improvement on the Vampire Hunter from last year. Recommended for hefe and fruit beer fans.
