Pours a clear golden with white head that retains nicely. Nose is very aromatic with heavy floral hops, resinous notes paired with bread and honey. The flavor has a nice herbal hoppy flavor up front with pungent floral notes through out. There is Just the right amount of malt sweetness and bread notes to round out the flavor of this beer with a moderate to high level of bitterness. Mouthfeel is moderate. Overall, a delicious IPA.

Poured from the bottle into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Great looking brew, a deep and crystal clear copper orange body, just real impressive color. Head manages an off tan to yellow color with a soaped retention and island cap. Pours a big four fingers, but settles quite normally and falls easily with an island clumpy center.

Real nice nose. Hop front has a smoke weedy, and woody splintery pine action. Some juiced tropical qualities matches a bit, but much of this earthy quality seems to dominate. Dank a bit here but with good spice, I really like this angle, may not be for everybody.

Big juicy body on the palate, with some good honey coating and not too thick. Just a great oily feel to make the hops coat all over. Hop action brings woody and smokey quality. Hints of smoke pine and earth seem to come out, with a very minimal bitterness, and good caramel light toffee crispness. Mouthfeel has a little tip of the tongue carbonation to be playful, but disappears to make the flavors come out on their own.

A real nice IPA take, not a fruit forward, not a quite dank buster, but a real unique one that has a distinct hard to describe and inviting character. Really dig this beer, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea.
